To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
*Sermon:*
Beloved, today the Lord is speaking a fresh word of divine recompense into your life:
**“The years the locust devoured in your marital journey, I am repaying with double for your shame, beauty for ashes, and joy that overflows forever!”**
The locust plague in Joel was not just a natural disaster; it was a divine call and a prophetic picture of seasons of loss, barrenness, and wasted years. Yet God’s promise was not merely to stop the destruction, but to **repay** every single year with abundance. Isaiah 61:3 calls this “a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.”
Many of you have wept in secret over marital delays, broken engagements, wrong matches, childlessness, separation, or long seasons of waiting. The enemy came to steal, kill, and destroy your joy and your covenant home. But hear the voice of the Lord today:
**Your wasted years are not forgotten. God is rising to repay them with double honor, with a spouse after His own heart, with peace in your home, with children of promise, and with a testimony that will cause nations to glorify Him!**
Your marital destiny is not lost—it is hidden in God’s hand, and He is about to bring it forth in greater glory than you ever imagined. The time of mourning is over. The season of repayment has begun!
Stand boldly and declare:
**“The Lord is repaying my wasted marital years with double blessings, beauty for ashes, and joy everlasting!”**

6. Every demonic force that has eaten up my marital harvest—vomit it now and release my portion in Jesus’ name!
7. I decree: The season of marital barrenness is terminated; fruitfulness, laughter, and celebration begin now in Jesus’ name!
8. Father, anoint me with the oil of joy and clothe me with the garment of praise in place of every garment of sorrow in Jesus’ name!
9. Every evil swarm attacking my divine marital connection—be scattered and consumed by thunder in Jesus’ name!

18. I recover sevenfold everything the enemy has stolen from my marital destiny in Jesus’ name!
19. Ministering angels of restoration, gather every scattered marital blessing and bring them back to me now in Jesus’ name!
20. Let the voice of the Lord command total repayment over every devoured area of my marriage in Jesus’ name!
21. I step into my season of marital overflow—lack, delay, and sorrow are terminated forever in Jesus’ name!
