**7 Days Prayer and Fasting for the New Month**

*Quote of the Day*

A new month is a divine invitation to reset, refocus, and realign with heaven. As we enter these 7 days of prayer and fasting, we posture ourselves for fresh grace, clear direction, and accelerated answers. Fasting sharpens spiritual hunger; prayer unlocks divine supply. This new month shall not find us empty-handed!

*Did you know?*

Scripture shows that seasons of prayer and fasting position God’s people for breakthrough, clarity, and divine favour (Joel 2:12-13; Matthew 6:16-18). When we dedicate the beginning of a new month to seeking God with fasting and prayer, we invite His presence to order our steps, cancel every evil agenda, and release the blessings already prepared for the days ahead.

*Sermon*

Beloved, welcome to our **7 Days Prayer and Fasting for the New Month**. We stand at the threshold of August with thanksgiving and expectation. These next seven days are not ordinary; they are consecrated days of seeking the face of God for personal breakthrough, family covering, ministerial advancement, and national transformation.

We stand on these scriptures:

**Joel 2:12-13**

> *“Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”*

**Isaiah 58:6**

> *“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”*

**Matthew 6:17-18**

> *“But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.”*

**Philippians 4:6-7**

> *“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”*

As we fast and pray these seven days, every yoke shall be broken, every closed door shall open, and the new month shall answer to the covenant of favour and acceleration!

**Begin to declare:**

“This new month is my month of divine acceleration! Every good thing prepared for me is released speedily, in Jesus’ name!”

### **Prayer Points**

1. **Father**, I thank You for bringing me into this new month. Thank You for the privilege of seeking You through these 7 days of prayer and fasting.

2. **O Lord**, as I fast and pray, draw me closer to You. Let my heart be tender and my spirit sensitive to Your voice throughout these days.

3. **By the power of the Holy Ghost**, I break every yoke of delay, stagnation, and limitation that followed me from the previous month. This new month shall be different!

4. **Father**, according to Isaiah 58, let this fast loose every band of wickedness and set me free from every heavy burden, in Jesus’ name.

5. **Holy Spirit**, baptise me afresh with hunger for God. Let these 7 days produce lasting spiritual fire and deeper intimacy with You.

6. **O Lord**, order my steps in this new month. Guide every decision, open the right doors, and shut every wrong path.

7. **By the blood of Jesus**, I cancel every evil programme, negative prediction, and satanic calendar scheduled against me in this new month.

8. **Father**, release divine favour upon me. Let men, systems, and opportunities locate me for good throughout this month.

9. **Lord Jesus**, strengthen me physically, spiritually, and emotionally as I fast. Let Your grace sustain me each day.

10. **Holy Ghost**, silence every voice of fear, doubt, and anxiety. Fill me with the peace that passes all understanding.

11. **Father**, let every area of my life that has been dry experience fresh rain and supernatural increase in this new month.

12. **O Lord**, protect my family, my health, my finances, and my destiny throughout these 7 days and beyond.

13. **Covenant-Keeping God**, accelerate answers to long-standing prayers. Let delayed testimonies manifest speedily.

14. **Lord**, give me clear direction for the remaining days of this year. Show me the path of fruitfulness and fulfilment.

15. **Holy Ghost**, turn every closed door of opportunity into open gates of breakthrough as I seek Your face.

16. **Father**, let the Church worldwide experience a fresh wave of revival as believers dedicate this new month to prayer and fasting.

17. **O Lord**, make these 7 days a turning point in my life—spiritually, financially, and destiny-wise.

18. **Lord Jesus**, heal every wound of the past season and fill me with fresh joy and expectation for the new month.

19. **Father**, let the joy of the Lord be my strength throughout this fast and the entire month of August.

20. **Covenant of Continuous Covering**: Heavenly Father, I decree that as I seek You in these 7 days, You will reward me openly. This new month shall answer to my faith, my prayers, and my fasting, in Jesus’ name.

21. **Personalize this**: Declare with boldness:

*“I decree and declare over this new month: I am aligned with heaven! Favour surrounds me, breakthrough locates me, and every good thing prepared for me is released speedily, in Jesus’ mighty name!”*

22. **Prophetic Declaration**:

*“Hear the word of the Lord: As you turn to Me with all your heart in fasting and prayer, I will reward you openly. I declare divine acceleration, open doors, restored health, and supernatural favour over your life this new month. You shall not end this month the same way you entered it, in the mighty name of Jesus!”*
