**Prayer for your Children**

*Quote of the Day*

Your children born and unborn are arrows in the hand of a mighty warrior. Rise today and cover them with unceasing prayer. The God who formed them in the womb will preserve, guide, and establish them. Every attack against their destiny is broken, and the Lord’s purpose for their lives shall stand!

*Did you know?*

In Scripture, children are called a heritage and reward from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). Jesus Himself welcomed them, saying the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Parental prayer is a powerful covering—when you stand in the gap for your children, heaven responds with protection, wisdom, favour, and divine direction over their lives.

*Sermon*

Beloved, welcome to today’s focus: **Prayer for your Children**. Whether biological, spiritual, or those the Lord has placed under your care, God has entrusted you with the sacred assignment of interceding for them. Today we stand as watchmen over the next generation.

We anchor our faith on these foundational scriptures:

**Psalm 127:3-5**

> *“Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them…”*

**Isaiah 54:13**

> *“And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.”*

**Proverbs 22:6**

> *“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”*

**Mark 10:14**

> *“Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.”*

This is a day to contend for the destinies of your children. As you pray, release divine covering over their health, education, character, relationships, future spouses, careers, and spiritual lives. The enemy will not hijack their purpose. Your children shall be taught of the Lord, and great shall be their peace!

**Begin to declare with fire:**

“My children are preserved, taught of the Lord, and established in destiny! Every plan of the enemy against them is destroyed, in Jesus’ name!”

### **Prayer Points**

1. **Father**, I thank You for the precious gift of my children. They are Your heritage and reward in my life.

2. **O Lord**, cover my children with the blood of Jesus and place a wall of fire around them, in Jesus’ name.

3. **By the power of the Holy Ghost**, I cancel every satanic agenda, evil monitoring, and demonic assignment against my children.

4. **Father**, let my children be taught of the Lord; grant them divine wisdom, understanding, and the fear of God.

5. **Holy Spirit**, fill my children with the spirit of excellence, discipline, and favour in their academics, skills, and every endeavour.

6. **O Lord**, protect my children’s minds from corruption, peer pressure, and every unclean influence of this generation.

7. **By the blood of Jesus**, I break every generational curse, negative pattern, and inherited limitation fighting my children’s destinies.

8. **Father**, order the steps of my children; connect them to the right friends, mentors, and divine helpers.

9. **Lord Jesus**, grant my children sound health, strength, and long life; every sickness and affliction is rebuked now!

10. **Holy Ghost**, awaken and preserve the spiritual hunger of my children; let them know You early and walk with You all their days.

11. **Father**, shield my children’s purity, identity, and purpose in this dark age; they shall not be defiled.

12. **O Lord**, release the spirit of prayer and intercession upon my children; make them mighty warriors in Your kingdom.

13. **Covenant-Keeping God**, establish the future of my children—marriage, career, ministry, and destiny—according to Your perfect will.

14. **Lord**, let the peace of God that surpasses understanding rest upon my children continually.

15. **Father**, expose and destroy every hidden trap, accident, and sudden evil planned against my children.

16. **Holy Ghost**, give me wisdom as a parent/guardian to train, correct, and nurture my children in the way they should go.

17. **O Lord**, let my children become arrows of righteousness that bring glory to Your name and impact their generation.

18. **Father**, restore any lost opportunity, delayed breakthrough, or stolen joy in the lives of my children.

19. **Lord Jesus**, fill my heart with faith and persistence to continue praying for my children without ceasing.

20. **Covenant of Divine Covering**: Heavenly Father, I boldly declare that my children are covered, preserved, and established by Your power. They shall fulfil their divine purpose, and no weapon formed against them shall prosper, in Jesus’ name.

21. **Personalize this**: Declare with boldness:

*“I decree and declare over my children: You are taught of the Lord! Great is your peace! You walk in wisdom, favour, and divine protection. Every plan of the enemy is cancelled, and your destinies shine brightly, in Jesus’ mighty name!”*

22. **Prophetic Declaration**:

*“Hear the word of the Lord: Your children are arrows in the hand of the Almighty. I declare divine covering, wisdom, and acceleration over them. They shall not be lost, delayed, or destroyed.
