**Prayer for the Nation**

*Quote of the Day*

Nations rise and fall by the will of God. When the righteous intercede, heaven responds. Continue to stand in the gap for your land. The same God who delivered nations in the past will heal, restore, and exalt this nation. No weapon formed against her destiny shall prosper, and every good work begun in her shall be completed!

*Did you know?*

Scripture reveals that God holds the nations in His hands and responds to the prayers of His people (2 Chronicles 7:14). Persistent intercession for a nation invites divine mercy, righteous leadership, peace, and national transformation. When we keep praying for our land, we partner with heaven to release covering, direction, and revival over the people, systems, and destiny of the nation.

*Sermon*

Beloved, welcome to **Prayer for the Nation**. God is still seeking intercessors who will stand in the gap for the land. As citizens of heaven and of this earthly nation, we must contend in prayer until righteousness is established, leaders are guided, and the purposes of God prevail over every territory.

We stand on these scriptures:

**2 Chronicles 7:14**

> *“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”*

**Psalm 33:12**

> *“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.”*

**1 Timothy 2:1-2**

> *“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.”*

**Proverbs 14:34**

> *“Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.”*

Today we pray deeper covering over the government, the people, the economy, the youth, and the spiritual climate of the nation. The enemy will not steal, kill, or destroy what God has ordained for this land. This nation shall experience healing, righteousness, and divine acceleration!

**Begin to declare with fire:**

“This nation is divinely kept, guided, and healed! Every contention against her destiny is answered by the Lord Himself, in Jesus’ name!”

### **Prayer Points**

1. **Father**, I thank You for this nation. You are the One who raises nations and sets their boundaries. Thank You for Your mercy that has preserved us thus far.

2. **O Lord**, according to Your Word, heal our land. Forgive our national sins and restore righteousness across every sphere of society, in Jesus’ name.

3. **By the power of the Holy Ghost**, I contend with every force of darkness operating against this nation. Deliver our land from every form of captivity and oppression!

4. **Father**, raise up godly leaders at every level of government. Give them wisdom, integrity, and the fear of the Lord.

5. **Holy Spirit**, baptise this nation with fresh hunger for righteousness. Let revival fire sweep across the land.

6. **O Lord**, surround our leaders with wise and godly counsel; cut off every voice of deception and corruption.

7. **By the blood of Jesus**, I destroy every plot of violence, bloodshed, terrorism, and sudden destruction targeted at this nation.

8. **Father**, release divine acceleration upon the economy of this nation—let businesses flourish, jobs increase, and poverty be broken.

9. **Lord Jesus**, grant favour to this nation before other nations; let international relationships work for our good.

10. **Holy Ghost**, silence every negative prophecy, curse, and evil decree spoken against the destiny of this land.

11. **Father**, protect the youth of this nation. Deliver them from drug abuse, immorality, cultism, and every trap of the enemy.

12. **O Lord**, let the fear of the Lord rest heavily upon this nation; make us a people who honour Your Word.

13. **Covenant-Keeping God**, establish justice and equity in our courts, institutions, and systems according to Your perfect will.

14. **Lord**, let no weapon formed against the peace, unity, and progress of this nation prosper.

15. **Holy Ghost**, turn every national delay into divine speed and every closed door of opportunity into open gates of breakthrough.

16. **Father**, give the Church continuous grace to pray without ceasing for this nation until we see the full manifestation of Your promises.

17. **O Lord**, make this nation mighty in the earth—a light of righteousness, excellence, and kingdom impact.

18. **Lord Jesus**, heal every wound of division, ethnic strife, and historical pain in the heart of this nation and fill us with Your love.

19. **Father**, let the joy of the Lord be the strength of this people; may peace and gladness continually rest upon our land.

20. **Covenant of Continuous Covering**: Heavenly Father, I decree that this nation is kept by Your power. She shall fulfil her days, walk in righteousness, and bring You glory. No power of hell shall prevail against her destiny, in Jesus’ name.
