**7 Days Prayer and Fasting for August #Day 5**

*Quote of the Day*

Day 5 is the day of divine acceleration and supernatural manifestation. The hunger of Day 1, the surrender of Day 2, the open heavens of Day 3, and the establishment of Day 4 now explode into rapid fulfilment. Fasting is not slow waiting—it is the force that compresses time and multiplies results. As we press deeper, every delayed promise is accelerated, every closed door swings wide, and the agenda of heaven for August moves from process into sudden, tangible harvest. This fifth day shall mark a season of speed, overflow, and undeniable breakthrough!

*Did you know?*

In Scripture, the number five frequently speaks of grace, favour, and the fullness of God’s provision. On the fifth day of creation God filled the waters and skies with living creatures in abundance (Genesis 1:20-23). Five is also the number of the five-fold ministry gifts and the five loaves that fed the multitude—grace that multiplies what is insufficient into more than enough. Consistency into the fifth day of consecration often becomes the moment when God shifts from establishment into accelerated manifestation and overflowing supply.

*Sermon*

Beloved, welcome to **Day 5 of our 7 Days Prayer and Fasting for August**. We have presented ourselves, stirred hunger, pressed into open heavens, stood for establishment, and now we contend for divine acceleration. These are days of supernatural speed and sudden results. On this fifth day we rise for rapid manifestation, multiplied favour, open doors, and the swift fulfilment of every word God has spoken over our lives, families, and the nations.

We stand on these scriptures:

**Isaiah 60:22**

> *“A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the Lord will hasten it in his time.”*

**Amos 9:13**

> *“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop sweet wine, and all the hills shall melt.”*

**Habakkuk 2:3**

> *“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”*

**2 Kings 7:1**

> *“Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the Lord; Thus saith the Lord, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel...”*

As we continue fasting and praying today, every delay is broken, every process is accelerated, and the Lord hastens His word concerning us for the remaining days of this consecration and the entire month of August!

“On this Day 5, I receive divine acceleration! Every delay is broken. Sudden breakthrough, open doors, and overflowing favour are mine, in Jesus’ name!”

### **Prayer Points**

1. **Father**, I thank You for the grace to continue into Day 5 of this 7-day prayer and fasting. Thank You for sustaining me and positioning me for acceleration.

2. **O Lord**, according to Isaiah 60:22, hasten Your word concerning me. Let every small beginning explode into multiplication on this fifth day.

3. **By the power of the Holy Ghost**, I break every spirit of delay, stagnation, and prolonged process still operating against my destiny on this Day 5.

4. **Father**, let the plowman overtake the reaper in my life. Accelerate every harvest that has been delayed.

5. **Holy Spirit**, make this day a day of supernatural speed. Let what should take months happen in moments.

6. **O Lord**, release sudden breakthroughs and open doors over every area of my life. Turn waiting into sudden fulfilment.

7. **By the blood of Jesus**, I silence every voice of postponement and every power resisting the swift manifestation of my breakthrough.

8. **Father**, open the windows of heaven over my family, finances, ministry, and destiny this day and accelerate every good work.

9. **Lord Jesus**, let Your glory hasten the fulfilment of every promise You have spoken over me throughout this fast and the month of August.

10. **Holy Ghost**, grant me the kind of breakthrough that compresses time and multiplies results beyond natural explanation.

11. **Father**, let every dry and barren place in my life suddenly overflow with abundance on this fifth day.

12. **O Lord**, cover my household with divine protection, accelerated favour, and lasting peace as I continue seeking Your face.

13. **Covenant-Keeping God**, accelerate the manifestation of every word You have spoken concerning me.

14. **Lord**, give me clear prophetic insight and strategies for the remaining days of this prayer and fasting.

15. **Holy Ghost**, turn every temporary opportunity into permanent gates of accelerated advancement and increase.

16. **Father**, let the global Church experience a fresh wave of revival, intercession, and accelerated harvest as believers continue in fasting.

17. **O Lord**, make Day 5 a day of noticeable spiritual acceleration and tangible, sudden results in my life.

18. **Lord Jesus**, heal every lingering wound and fill me with overflowing joy, peace, and expectation of swift answers.

19. **Father**, let the joy of the Lord remain my strength throughout this day and the rest of the fast.

20. **Covenant of Acceleration**: Heavenly Father, I decree that on this Day 5 You accelerate me. Every delay is broken, every harvest is hastened, and sudden breakthrough is released, in Jesus’ name.
