Sermon: The ultimate goal of the new covenant is to transform us into the image of God. Ever since the fall of man, man has become a shadow of himself, shame and nakedness took over, and just like Ichabod, the glory of God departed from man, this is why the new covenant is introduced to restore us back to the creator. After embracing Christ we begin the process of transformation, one of the ways to be transformed into the image and likeness of Christ is by spending time with the Lord. There are other ways to change, such as guilt, willpower, or coercion, but none of these methods bring change that is as deep and lasts as long as the transformation that comes by the Spirit of God as we spend time in the presence of the Lord. It is important to highlight that there is no time spent in the presence of the Lord that is a waste, each time you are lost in God's presence you find something treasurable
