Beloved, welcome to Day 17 of our transformative journey in the **40 Days of Mercy**! Today, we dive into the **unfailing and daily renewed mercy** of God—how His steadfast love and compassions never cease, preventing total destruction and offering fresh hope no matter the depth of despair. Lamentations 3:22-23 powerfully declares: "It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness." (KJV) Or in another translation: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."
In the midst of lament and loss, the prophet Jeremiah anchors his soul in this truth: God's mercy is not exhausted by our failures, trials, or even judgment—it's constant, reliable, and refreshed daily. Because of His great love, we are preserved; His compassions do not fail. This daily renewal means yesterday's burdens do not define today—His faithfulness guarantees a new beginning each morning.
Supporting scriptures affirm this: Psalm 103:8-12 reminds us that the Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love, removing our transgressions as far as the east is from the west. Ephesians 2:4-5 reveals God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ out of great love. Titus 3:5 speaks of salvation through His mercy by the washing of regeneration and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

21. By the blood of Jesus, remove every hindrance to Your fresh compassions; unleash torrents of healing, elevation, and favor in Jesus' mighty name.
22. Eliminate every barrier and limitation; usher in new dimensions, promotions, and accelerations by Your renewed mercy.
23. Personalize this day: Declare boldly over specific areas (mention them) where God's unfailing mercy is preserving, renewing, and bringing victory today.
24. Pray for the global Church: that believers everywhere encounter God's new mercies daily, standing strong in His faithfulness and igniting revival.
