Beloved, welcome to Day 9 of our powerful journey in the **40 Days of Mercy**! Today, we anchor deeper into the eternal truth that **God's mercy endures forever**. As Psalm 136 repeatedly proclaims across its 26 verses, "for His mercy endures forever"—a resounding declaration that echoes through creation, redemption, deliverance, and daily provision. This isn't fleeting compassion; it's an everlasting attribute of our God who never changes.
Lamentations 3:22-23 reinforces this: "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." His mercy doesn't expire with time, diminish with our failures, or weaken in the face of challenges. It carried the Israelites from bondage to promise, sustained them in the wilderness, and upholds us now. No matter the depth of sin, the weight of trials, the length of waiting, or the fierceness of opposition—His mercy triumphs, covers, restores, and prevails. It triumphs over judgment (James 2:13), invites us to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and declares that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).
