*40 Days of Mercy #Day 35*

*Apostle Momo Promise*

*Quote of the Day*

Even when the situation looks final, God’s compassion can extend life, restore health, and defend what concerns us.

*Did you know ?*

In Jewish culture, Tzedakah means "justice," not just "charity": In Judaism, giving to the poor isn't optional kindness or pity—it's an act of righteousness and justice. The word comes from tzedek (justice), so helping the needy is seen as correcting an imbalance in the world, not a favor.

*Sermon:*

Beloved, welcome to **Day 35** of our transformative journey in the **40 Days of Mercy**! Today we anchor deeply in the heart of God revealed in **2 Kings 20:1-6** — the God who hears prayer, sees tears, and extends mercy even when death seems inevitable.

“In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, ‘This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.’ Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the Lord… And before Isaiah had gone out of the middle court, the word of the Lord came to him: ‘Turn back and say to Hezekiah… I have heard your prayer; I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord, and I will add fifteen years to your life. I will deliver you and this city…’” (2 Kings 20:1-6, NIV).

What a powerful demonstration of mercy! Hezekiah received a clear death sentence from the prophet, yet in his desperation he turned to the Lord, wept bitterly, and cried out in prayer. Before the messenger even left the palace, God responded with compassion. He heard the prayer, saw the tears, and reversed the decree. Not only did He heal Hezekiah, but He added fifteen years to his life and promised deliverance for him and the city.

This is the mercy that overrules death. This is the mercy that responds swiftly to sincere cries. This is the mercy that says, “I have seen your tears — I will heal you.” Even when the situation looks final, God’s compassion can extend life, restore health, and defend what concerns us. He is not bound by human pronouncements or medical reports; He is the God who adds years and turns terminal situations around for His glory and for the sake of His promises.

Beloved, if you are facing a “death sentence” in any area — sickness, failing health, dying dreams, broken relationships, or any hopeless situation — this word is for you. God still hears prayers. He still sees tears. He is still moved with compassion to heal and to add back what was thought lost. His mercy can turn the shadow of death into a new season of life and productivity.

Open your heart to this truth today: The same God who answered Hezekiah is ready to answer you. Turn your face to Him in prayer. Pour out your heart. Let your tears speak where words fail. His mercy is not slow to respond — it can intercept the messenger of bad news and release divine reversal. What the enemy or circumstances have declared “you will not recover,” the Lord of mercy can override with “I will heal you and add years of purpose.”

This is your season to experience the overruling mercy of God. What looks like the end is the beginning of a new chapter written by compassion. Trust in His willingness to hear and to heal. Lean on His power to defend and deliver. The God of Hezekiah is rising in mercy over your life right now!

As you pray these points with faith, ask the Lord to release the same compassion and healing power seen in 2 Kings 20:1-6 into every area of your life. May you encounter the God who hears your prayer, sees your tears, heals your body and situations, and adds back life, strength, and destiny!

**Prayer Points**

1. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word in 2 Kings 20:1-6 — thank You that You hear prayer and see tears, in Jesus' name!

2. Lord, by Your mercy, hear my prayer today and see every tear I have shed, according to 2 Kings 20:5.

3. O God of compassion, reverse every death sentence spoken over my life, health, or destiny.

4. Merciful Father, heal me completely as You healed Hezekiah; let me recover and rise again.

5. Lord, add years of life, strength, and productivity to me; extend my days for Your glory.

6. Father, deliver me and my household from every threat and enemy, as You defended Hezekiah and Jerusalem.

7. O God who answered Hezekiah swiftly, intervene in my situation before it is too late.

8. Merciful Lord, turn my weeping into testimony; let my tears move Your hand of compassion.

9. Holy Spirit, help me turn my face to the wall in focused prayer like Hezekiah.

10. Lord, defend my life and assignment for Your own sake and for the sake of Your promises.

11. By Your mercy, grant me divine recovery and restoration in every area that seems dying or failing.

12. Surprise me with proofs of Your healing mercy — sudden turnarounds and added blessings.

13. Guard my heart from fear and despair; remind me that You are the God who overrules bad reports.

14. Transform every “terminal” situation in my life into a platform for the display of Your great mercy.

15. Through the blood of Jesus, I receive and declare the fulfillment of 2 Kings 20:1-6 over my life — healing, added years, and deliverance!

16. Ignite in me fresh faith to cry out to You; help me trust that You will hear and answer speedily.

17. Perfect all that concerns me with Your faithful mercy — let healing and life cover every part of my being.

18. Make my life a living witness of Your overruling mercy; use my story to encourage others to pray and wait on You.

19. Grant me grace to pray with boldness and expectation, knowing You see my tears and respond with compassion.

20. I praise You in advance for the mercy that reverses sentences — You are the God who heals and adds life!

21. By the blood of Jesus, release floods of healing, restoration, and supernatural deliverance into my life today.

22. Shatter every spirit of fear, sickness, or hopelessness; usher me into the fullness of life You have ordained.

23. Personalize this day: Declare boldly over specific areas (mention them aloud) where you need God’s healing mercy, life extension, and divine reversal right now.

24. Pray for the global Church: that believers facing sickness, terminal reports, or hopeless situations will cry out like Hezekiah and encounter the God who hears prayer, sees tears, heals, and delivers.

25. Pray for Apostle Momo Promise and Zion Flames Prophetic and Intercessory Ministries — that God’s mercy will rise powerfully over us, heal every area of weakness, add strength and years to the assignment, protect our calling, multiply miracles, enlarge our reach, breathe fresh fire into the ministry, and propel us into greater authority, favor, and global harvest.
