*Taking Charge of the month of June #Day 5*
1 Kings 17:8-13
8 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying,
9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.
10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.
11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand
12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.
13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.
14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.
16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.
*Sermon:* God told Elijah to go to Zarephath because he has prepared a poor widow there to provide food for Elijah, Widows were known for their poverty in the ancient world. God told Elijah to go to a Gentile widow and receive provision; it probably seemed to make more sense to wait beside a dry brook. Elijah found the woman outside the city gate gathering sticks, she couldn't even afford fire wood, but God had chosen her for visitation, Elijah boldly put this request in faith. Common sense and circumstances told him that the widow would not give so generously to a Jewish stranger, but faith made him ask, the woman was tested by God to see her generosity and her service when she gave her last morsel of bread which she had kept for herself and her son there was multiplication, the bread was multiplied and the oil never finished in a time of famine, here we learn sacrifice and service, can we sacrifice like this woman ? The blessings of the lord comes on those who are sacrificial.

8. My pocket is blessed from today for restoration in the name of Jesus
9. Change my story for good and make me to begin to fulfill purpose in the name of Jesus
10. My financial destiny is restored and is glittering in the name of Jesus
11. I refuse to live a life of shame, I receive change of my financial situation for good in the name of Jesus
12. Every battle line that has been drawn for the contention of my life i decree and I declare those who drew it are defeated and my Glory recovered in the name of Jesus
13. Every mountain of financial problems before me, I receive Grace to cross it now in the name of Jesus
14. The storms of life shall not swallow me up this month of my harvest in the name of Jesus
15. Open my heaven ohh Lord let my financial breakthrough be given to me this month in the name of Jesus
16. I send every arrow of death at the point of breakthrough back to sender in the name of Jesus
17. I shall not die but live to declare the works of God in the land of the living and i will eat the good of the land
18. Every veil placed upon my face to separate me from my destiny helper, I tear you apart in the name of Jesus
19. Jehovah Jireh break the yoke of debt in my life because my Glory is recovered in the name of Jesus
20. I put an end to every Satanic visitor visiting my finance periodically in the name of Jesus
21. Every thing called dryness in my life is destroyed forever in the name of Jesus
22. As i pray today, father loose me from the grip of the enemies and deliver me from the hold of financial stagnation in the name of Jesus
23. I put an end to every spirit of commotion and chaos ravaging my finance in the name of Jesus
24. Prophecy upon this day and declare what you want to see
