*Sermon:* What Is a Witchcraft Altar?
An altar is a point of contact between the spiritual and the physical.
In the Bible, God commanded altars for sacrifice and covenant (Exodus 20:24-26).
But the enemy perverts this divine principle. A witchcraft altar is any place, object, or ritual where:
Demonic covenants are made with substances like (blood, hair, clothing, names etc.)
Sacrifices are offered to spirits using (food, animals, even humans).
Curses are released to monitor, manipulate, or destroy the victim.
These altars can be:
Physical: Shrines in forests, under trees, in homes (hidden charms, idols).
Spiritual: Covenants in marine kingdoms, ancestral spirits, occultic bloodlines.
Digital: Curses spoken over phones, photos used in rituals, names written in demonic registers.
Example: The witch of Endor had an altar (1 Samuel 28). Balaam built seven altars to curse Israel (Numbers 23). But God overturned them all!
*How Witchcraft Altars Affect Believers*
They affect you if you notice the following
* Stagnation – You labor, but nothing prospers (Deuteronomy 28:15-20).
* Sickness without cure – Doctors are confused; medicine fails.
* Night attacks – Spirit spouses, eating in dreams, paralysis.
* Marital delay or destruction – Good relationships collapse mysteriously.
* Mental oppression – Fear, confusion, suicidal thoughts.
But Jesus said: “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)
*How to Destroy Witchcraft Altars –*
The Divine Strategy
1. Repentance & Renunciation
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:9)
Confess every known involvement:
Visiting witch doctors, wearing charms, incantations, occultic jewelry.
Ancestral covenants, blood oaths, secret societies.
Renounce them aloud:
“I renounce every covenant with witchcraft altars in my life, my family, and my bloodline, in Jesus’ name!”
2. Plead the Blood of Jesus
“They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” (Revelation 12:11)
The blood of Jesus is a weapon you should not ignore. It cancels every blood sacrifice on any demonic altar
Pray:
“Let the blood of Jesus speak against every altar demanding my destiny!”
3. Release the Fire of God
“Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29)
Command:
“I release the consuming fire of God to burn to ashes every witchcraft altar assigned against me, in Jesus’ name!”
(Hebrews 12:29 – Our God is a consuming fire.)
4. Bind the Strongman
“No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man.” (Mark 3:27)
Pray:
“I bind the strongman over every witchcraft altar in my life – you spirit of [name the issue: delay, sickness, etc.], lose your hold now!”
5. Destroy Physical Objects
Burn, break, or bury:
Charms, idols, occult books, demonic gifts.
(Acts 19:19 – The Ephesians burned their magic books.)
6. Decree Reversal
Reverse every curse:
“Every curse spoken over my life from any altar, I return you to sender sevenfold, in Jesus’ name!”
(Proverbs 26:2 – A curse without cause shall not stand.)
IV. Maintain Your Victory
Live holy – Sin rebuilds altars (Romans 6:1-2).
Pray without ceasing – Cover yourself daily with the blood and fire.
Anoint your home – Use oil to sanctify gates, doors, and bed.
Fast regularly – Break spiritual backbone of witchcraft (Matthew 17:21).
Speak the Word – Quote Scripture like a sword (Ephesians 6:17).
As you pray these prayer points today, every witchcraft altar working against your promotion will be obliterated today.

8. I release the thunder and lightning of God to strike down every satanic altar in my foundation, in Jesus’ name!
9. Every ancestral altar speaking against my progress, be uprooted and consumed by fire, in Jesus’ name!
10. Let every marine altar holding my blessings captive sink like Pharaoh’s chariots, in Jesus’ name!
11. I overthrow every evil altar erected in the second heaven against my life, in Jesus’ name!
12. Every witchcraft altar in my workplace, family, or environment, scatter by fire, in Jesus’ name!
13. Let the hammer of God smash every rock altar of witchcraft assigned to stop my breakthrough, in Jesus’ name!
14. I bind and cast out every strongman guarding witchcraft altars over my life, in Jesus’ name!
15. Every evil altar swallowing my finances, vomit them by fire, in Jesus’ name!
16. Let angelic warriors invade every coven where my name is mentioned and destroy their altars, in Jesus’ name!
17. Every altar of delay, sickness, and failure raised against me, collapse and die, in Jesus’ name!
18. I decree: every curse issued from witchcraft altars return to sender sevenfold, in Jesus’ name!
19. Let the wind of the Holy Ghost blow away every evil altar built in dreams against me, in Jesus’ name!
20. Every physical object linking me to witchcraft altars—charms, photos, clothes—catch fire NOW, in Jesus’ name!
21. I recover every blessing stolen from me by witchcraft altars, sevenfold, in Jesus’ name!
22. Father, raise a standard of Your fire around me; let no new altar be built against me, in Jesus’ name!
